Folk Dance Ensemble "Naiden Kirov" - Ruse was founded in 1960 by its long-time artistic director and choreographer Ivan Donev. It is one of the most popular and sought-after ensembles in Bulgaria and Europe, spreading the glory of Bulgarian folklore to all theater includes in its activity the search, preservation and presentation of Bulgarian dance, music and song folklore.

In its programs you can enjoy the dances and costumes from all ethnographic regions of Bulgaria, feel the Bulgarian temperament and spirit, presented by young and charming girls and boys.

For these more than 65 years of creative work, Folk Dance Theater "Nayden Kirov" has performed over 3,600 concerts in Bulgaria and abroad, in front of an audience of about 4 million people, has realized 106 participations in International Folklore Festivals and competitions, and has won friends with its art in Italy, France, Cuba, Japan, Canada, Holland, USA, Canary Islands, Greece, Belgium, Israel, Afghanistan, Germany, England, Spain, Russia, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Turkey and many others.

The special award of the Ministry of Culture for achieved high artistic performances in the art of dance.
